Fast Muscle Building With Steroids? Do You Really Need Them?

There is a premium to a fit body, and everyone wants to build muscles. That is exactly why people choose the shorter route, such as resorting to steroids.

People will fall sick, but the desire to look good and perform better than others is so great that they will still choose the unhealthy way. The fact that steroids are easily accessible, legally as well as illegally, does not help either.

Building muscle is a complicated process that requires a great amount of commitment and hard work. However, that is no reason why it has to be illegitimate. The motivation for taking the illegitimate route is a misplaced belief that being better than everyone else brings respect, even if it is by unfair means.

The most prominent reason why people tend to take a shortcut to building muscle is the fact that performance in sports is a great motivator. However, athletes and sportspersons fail to realize that success achieved by using illegitimate and unhealthy means is not only short lived, but also runs the risk of them being exposed and facing ignominy.

Strength and performance are worth it only when they are long lasting, which is achievable only with hard work and in a healthy way.

The problem is that sports have ceased to be what they were actually supposed to be. Sporting activities are no longer platforms of healthy competition and activities involving a show of strength. They have become a business and where big money can be made, and so, illegitimate activities are bound to sneak in.

It is indeed pathetic to notice the lengths to which people will go to make money. Even sadder is the fact that if money ceases to be the motivation, popularity and prestige takes over.

Even stranger is the fact that people fail to understand that a few moments of success, the accolades, and the bouquets, are hardly worth the risk. Is it worth risking your life just for showing that you are better than the rest? Is it not more fun to achieve success the hard way? Above all, where is the fun when you know you have won by cheating?

The reality is that the best things in life do not come easy, nor does building muscle. Muscle gain is something best when achieved in a healthy way, which is through hard work and sweating it out in a gym.

The motive behind muscle building should be to increase fitness levels, strengthen the joints, and prevent oneself from injury and disease. Physical fitness allows you to enjoy the activities that you like for longer periods and also improves mental health.

The motive behind playing a game should be to enjoy it. Play to win, but if you cannot, then it only goes to prove that you need to do more.

Mental satisfaction comes only when you know that you have worked hard to win without cheating. Choosing to perform by using unfair and illegitimate means may not only make you an object of ridicule, but may also land you on a hospital bed.
